IntoUniversity Lambeth

The IntoUniversity Lambeth centre opened in October 2007, marking the beginning of the charity’s expansion across London. The service has been very popular with local children and young people since the centre first opened its doors.

Mark Robinson

Mark Robinson is the South London Cluster Manager, based at the Lambeth centre. He is also our Head of Student Enrichment. He joined us as a graduate trainee Education Worker in August 2010. Mark has an MSc in International Childhood Studies and previously was a classroom assistant in Brazil.

Sam Choma

Sam Choma joined us as a graduate trainee Education Worker in August 2012. She has a degree in Philosophy and her experience includes working as a classroom assistant.

Nicola Hughes

Nicola Hughes joined the Cross-Centre team as a graduate trainee Education Worker in August 2012 and is now the Mentoring Coordinator at Lambeth. She has a degree in Geography and her experience includes Camp America.

Grace Howourth

Grace Howourth joined us in January 2014 as a graduate trainee Education Worker. Grace has a degree in Biological Sciences and her previous experience includes working as an intern with the British Red Cross and teaching English and maths in Tanzania.

Monday

Secondary Academic Support 

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.  
 


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3.45pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  
 


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support 

4pm - 5.30pm 

UCAS Drop In (Years 11-13) 

4pm - 5.30pm 

Advice on UCAS applications, interview techniques, and gap year choices.
