IntoUniversity North Islington

IntoUniversity North Islington opened in autumn 2016. It's our 12th London centre and is based at the Arts and Media School Islington.

Kelsey Strain

Kelsey Strain is Acting Team Leader at North Islington. Kelsey has a degree in Spanish and Global Studies from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Masters in Education, Power and Social Change from Birkbeck University. She previously worked as a Teaching Assistant.

Richard Watson

Richard Watson is our East London Cluster Manager and is based at our North Islington centre.

April Reading

April Reading joined us in August 2016. April has a degree in the Study of Religions from SOAS. She was previously a Workshop Assistant and Play Worker.

Anish Chhibber

Anish Chhibber joined us in August 2016. Anish has a degree in Nutrition from the University of Bournemouth. He previously worked as an ESL teacher in China.

Katherine Walker

Katherine Walker is our Boarding Schools Bursary Manager and is based at our North Islington centre.

Dot Salmon

Dot Salmon is our Associate Network Manager and is based at our North Islington centre.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5:30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support  

3.30pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5:30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.    


Year 11-13 can phone or email to book an appointment for advice on UCAS applications, interview techniques, and gap year choices.
