IntoUniversity Oxford South East

IntoUniversity Oxford South East is our first centre in Oxford, opened in partnership with Christ Church, the University of Oxford and The Queen's Trust. The centre opened its doors to young people in Blackbird Leys in autumn 2014.

Laura Duncalfe

Laura Duncalfe is our Team Leader in Oxford. Laura has a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge and a PGCE in Secondary Education. She previously worked as a teacher.

Chris Whyte

Chris Whyte joined us in August 2016. Chris has a degree in Politics from the University of Edinburgh, and a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Glasgow University. He previously worked as a Programme Implementation Officer at the Impact Network.

Jade Poole

Jade Poole​ joined us in August 2017. Jade has a degree from Loughborough University in Politics with Geography. She previously worked as a Senior Mentor for National Citizen Service. 

Lydia Salter

Lydia Salter​ joined us in August 2017. Lydia has a degree in History from the University of Bristol, with a Masters in International Relations from the University of Bath. Previously she worked in Widening Participation roles within the University of Bath.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     
 


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3:30pm - 5:00pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  
 


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
