IntoUniversity Brighton

IntoUniversity Brighton opened in Moulsecoomb in October 2014. The centre was opened in partnership with the University of Sussex and The Queen's Trust.

Dr Joanna Marchant

Dr Joanna Marchant is Centre Leader at our Brighton centre. Joanna joined us in July 2014 and previously lectured at the University of Westminster and worked as a teaching assistant. In 2012 Joanna completed a PhD with the Institute of Historal Research.

Amy Bryant

Amy Bryant joined us in January 2015. Amy has a degree in Psychology from Royal Holloway University. She has previously worked as an Individual Needs and Learning Support Assistant at a primary school.

Elliot Naylor

Elliott Naylor joined us in August 2015. Elliot has a degree in History from the University of Reading and has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant. 

Alice Bennett

Alice Bennett joined us in August 2016. Alice has a degree in French and German studies from Warwick University. She previously worked as an English Teacher in Germany and France.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     
 


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3:30pm - 5:00pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  
 


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
