IntoUniversity Hammersmith

IntoUniversity Hammersmith was our seventh centre to open in London. Academic Support sessions began running at the centre in January 2012, and it was officially opened in March 2012 by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams.

Justine Walsh

Justine Walsh is Centre Leader at our Hammersmith centre. Justine joined us as a graduate-trainee Education Worker in August 2012. She has a degree in Psychology and her experience includes working as a teaching assistant.

Ben Spencer

Ben Spencer is one of our Lead Senior Education Workers. He joined us as a graduate-trainee Education Worker in January 2011. He has a degree in Politics and Sociology and previously worked as an AimHigher mentor and ambassador. His network responsibility is Student Councils.

Yasmine Ali

Yasmine Ali joined us in August 2015. Yasmine has a degree in Psycho-social Studies from Goldsmiths University and previously worked as a Teaching Assistant.

Nicola Kelly

Nicola Kelly joined us in January 2016. Nicola has a degree in Sociology from Nottingham Trent University. She previously worked as a Project Leader on the ARTiculate project in Nottingham.

Monday

Secondary Academic Support 

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.  


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3.45pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  
 


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support 

4pm - 5.30pm 

UCAS Drop In (Years 11-13) 

4pm - 5.30pm 

Advice on UCAS applications, interview techniques, and gap year choices.
