IntoUniversity Nottingham Central, our third centre in Nottingham, opened in late 2013. This centre is run in partnership with the University of Nottingham.

Fiona Rutherford

Fiona Rutherford is our Team Leader at IntoUniversity Nottingham Central. Fiona studied French and Italian at the University of Bristol and has a PGCE in Secondary Education. She previously worked as a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher.

Jake Miles

Jake Miles joined us in August 2015. Jake has a degree in Sports and Leisure Management from the University of Plymouth and a Masters in Business and Economy in Contemporary China. Jake previously worked as a Sports Development Co-ordinator.

Niamh Doran

Niamh Doran joined us in August 2016. Niamh has a degree in English and Drama from Loughborough University. She previously volunteered at IntoUniversity and was a temporary Education Worker. 

Paige Wilkey

Paige Wilkey joined us in August 2016. Paige has a degree in Education Studies at De Montfort University, and a PGCE from Nottingham Trent University with Schools Direct. She previously worked as a Primary School teacher.

What's on at the centre?

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support  

3.30pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
