IntoUniversity Brighton

IntoUniversity Brighton opened in Moulsecoomb in October 2014. The centre was opened in partnership with the University of Sussex and The Queen's Trust.

Robyn O'Halloran - Centre Leader

Robyn O'Halloran joined us in August 2018. Robyn has a degree in History from the University of Birmingham. She was a volunteer at IntoUniversity Hackney South and has previously worked as a Support Assistant at CORE Projects. 

Gavin Grassick

Gavin Grassick​ joined us in August 2017. Gavin has a degree in Geography from Swansea University, with a Masters in Geographical Information Science from The University of Edinburgh. Previously he worked in Discovery Student Volunteering.

Rosie Doyle

Rosie Doyle joined us in August 2020. Rosie studied English and French at the University of Southampton and has experience working in various roles within SEN teams, including working as a Learning Support Assistant, an Academic SEN Tutor and an SEN team leader.

Jazmin Reigan

Jazmin Reigan joined us in August 2021. Jazmin has a degree in Media Practice from the University of Sussex. Previously, she was a mentor at IntoUniversity Brighton.

Angus Walker

Angus Walker joined us in January 2020 as Programme Support Tutor. He has a degree in English Literature from Sussex University and has previously worked as a tutor with SEN students.

What's on at the centre?

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     
 


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3:30pm - 5:00pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  
 


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
