Emily Magrath - Centre Leader

Emily Magrath is Team Leader at our Bristol East centre. Emily has a degree in History from the University of Aberdeen, an MA from UCL and a PhD in Native American history. She previously worked as a tutor at the University of Aberdeen and the Brilliant Club.

Lucy Carter

Lucy Carter joined us in January 2020 and has a Politics and International Relations degree from the University of Bristol. Previously Lucy worked as a Teaching Assistant and as a Customer Relations Advisor at Thameslink Govia Railway.

Alex Caley

Alex Caley joined us in January 2021. Alex has a History degree from the Newcastle University. He previously was a Camp Counsellor and Assistant Group Leader at Camp Wayne for boys as well as volunteering at the Newcastle University Students Union as an University Access volunteer.

Lois Plummer

Lois Plummer joined us in January 2021. Lois has a degree in Sociology from the University of Nottingham and a MSc in Ethnicity and Multiculturalism from the University of Bristol. Previously, she interned in the Widening Participation team at the University of Bristol.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     
 


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3:30pm - 5:00pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  
 


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
