IntoUniversity Brixton

IntoUniversity Brixton was our eighth centre to open in London. The centre was officially launched in December 2012.

Darius Abadeh - Centre Leader

Darius Abadeh joined us in January 2017 and is our Centre Leader in Brixton. Darius has a degree in Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University. He was previously a Personal Care Worker and volunteered with Citizens Advice as a Witness Service Support Worker. 

Emily Earp

Emily Earp joined us in January 2020 and has an English degree from the University of Exeter and an MA in Modern, Contemporary Literature, Culture and Thought from The University of Sussex. She previously worked as a Fundraising and Partnerships Assistant for the University of Sussex SU.

Judy Edwards

Judy Edwards joined us in August 2018. Judy has a degree in History from the University of Bristol. She previously worked as an English and Maths tutor for primary school students. 

Esther Ivens

Esther Ivens joined us in August 2020. Esther has a Modern Language (French) degree from the University of Oxford. Previously, she has been a tutor and English Language assistant at a French Primary school.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support  

3.30pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
