IntoUniversity Hackney South

IntoUniversity Hackney South was launched in February 2010. The centre is now firmly established within the local community and works with a number of schools in the surrounding area.

Ella Rule - Centre Leader

Ella​ ​Rule​ ​joined us in January 2018. Ella has a degree in Linguistics from the University of Cambridge. After graduating, Ella worked as the Admissions and Schools Liaison Officer for Christ’s College, Cambridge.

Hanna Campbell

Hanna Campbell joined us in January 2020 and has a Liberal Arts degree from The University of Exeter. Before IntoUniversity, she was a tutor, taught for a Young Learners Summer programme and was an intern for the United Nations Kosovo Team.

Anuli Changa

Anuli Changa joined us in August 2020. Anuli has a Law degree from the University of Manchester. Anuli previously was a Programme Director and Senior Mentor at Debate Mate as well as being heavily involved in the Black Lawyers Matter initiative whilst at university.

 

Jai Thakrar-Curtis

Jai Thakrar-Curtis joined us in August 2020. Jai studied History at the University of Oxford and has had several different tutoring and mentoring roles including at our Oxford South East centre.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.  
   


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support  

3.30pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  
 


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
