IntoUniversity Hammersmith

IntoUniversity Hammersmith was our seventh centre to open in London. Academic Support sessions began running at the centre in January 2012, and it was officially opened in March 2012 by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams.

Leah Boyne - Centre Leader

Leah​ ​Boyne​ ​joined us in January 2018. Leah has a degree in Politics from the University of Sheffield. She previously worked as an English Language Teacher in China, and was a Youth Engagement Intern for Into​University.

George Mumford

George Mumford joined us in August 2019. He has a degree in History from the University of Bristol and a Masters in Environment and Development from King's College London. He previously worked as a tutor at HeadWayTutors.

Emily Raisin

Emily Raisin joined us in August 2019. She has a degree in History from the University of Warwick. Emily previously worked as the Marketing Coordinator for the University of Lincoln Student Union.

Anuja Chouhan

Anuja Chouhan joined us in January 2019. Anuja has a degree in Globalisation: History, Politics and Culture from the University of Brighton. She has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant.

Francesca Anderson

Francesca Anderson joined us in August 2018 and is our Student Enrichment Coordinator. Francesca has a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Oxford and a PGCE from Roehampton University where she trained as a teacher.

Secondary Academic Support 

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.  

Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3.45pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  


Secondary Academic Support 

4pm - 5.30pm 

UCAS Drop In (Years 11-13) 

4pm - 5.30pm 

Advice on UCAS applications, interview techniques, and gap year choices.
