IntoUniversity North Kensington

The centre in North Kensington was where IntoUniversity’s mission began. The centre acts as the headquarters for the charity while providing Academic Support, FOCUS Weeks and mentoring for young people in the area.

Esther Pickering

Esther Pickering is Team Leader at North Kensington. Esther has a degree in Sociology from the University of Leeds and was previously an Undergraduate Recruitment Intern for the University of Leeds and a Teaching Assistant. 

Emma Bornebroek

Emma Bornebroek joined us in August 2017. She has a degree in Natural Sciences from University of Cambridge and a Science Communications Masters from Imperial. She previously worked as a Lead Instructor for Mother Nature Science.

Charlie Mannix Beale

Charlie Mannix Beale joined us in August 2017. Charlie has a degree in Philosophy and Politics from The University of Liverpool. He previously worked as a Tutor and a Cover Supervisor at a school in Basingstoke

Shemari Lewis

Shemari Lewis joined us in August 2018. Shemari has a degree in Applied Social Science, Community Development and Youth Work from Goldsmiths University where she was a student ambassador and mentor. She has previously worked as a Youth Worker at City YMCA.

Joanie Woodcock

Joanie Woodcock joined us in August 2018. Joanie has a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Manchester. She has previously worked as a primary LSA and as an English Teacher in India.
