IntoUniversity Nottingham Central, our third centre in Nottingham, opened in late 2013. This centre is run in partnership with the University of Nottingham.

Claire Georgiou - Centre Leader

Claire Georgiou has a degree in French and Politics from the University of Nottingham and a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Nottingham. She has previously taught French and German in a Secondary school.

Sylvia Gardiner

Sylvia Gardiner joined us in January 2018. Sylvia has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham. She previously worked as a Youth Worker and as a Student Recruitment Officer for the University of Nottingham.

Hannah Booth

Hannah​ ​Booth joined us in January 2018. Hannah has a degree in Psychology from Sheffield Hallam University. She previously worked as a Link Worker for Nottingham City Council and spent time teaching English in a school in Bolivia.

Luke Jennings

Luke Jennings joined us in August 2018. Luke has a MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Loughborough University. He has previously worked as a Group Leader at Derby Kids Camp as well as being a Tennis Coach.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support  

3.30pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
