IntoUniversity Nottingham East was our second centre in partnership with The University of Nottingham. It opened in April 2013.

Ellen Fisher

Ellen Fisher joined us in August 2016. Ellen has a degree in English from the University of Nottingham, and a Masters in Viking and Anglo-Saxon Studies. She previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Name Studies. 

Kyle Barker

Kyle Barker ​joined us in August 2017. Kyle has a degree in Physical Education and School Sports from Sheffield Hallam University. He previously worked as a sports coach. 

Nic Hattam

Nic Hattam​ ​joined us in August 2017. Nic has a degree in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from The University of Nottingham. She previously mentored at our Nottingham East centre and worked as a Student Ambassador during her time at university.  
 

Kaysha Howett

Kaysha​ ​Howett​ ​joined us in January 2018. Kaysha has a degree in Geography from the University of Dundee. She previously worked as a Programme Director for International Summer Camp Cooper, and has been a Project Worker for Women’s Aid.

Laura Culverhouse

Laura Culverhouse is our Regional Operations Manager based at our Nottingham East centre. She joined us in July 2012 as Centre Leader for our second Nottingham centre.

What's on at the centre?

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5:30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support  

3.30pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5:30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
