IntoUniversity Oxford South East

IntoUniversity Oxford South East is our first centre in Oxford, opened in partnership with Christ Church, the University of Oxford and The Queen's Trust. The centre opened its doors to young people in Blackbird Leys in autumn 2014.

Lydia Salter - Centre Leader

Lydia Salter​ joined us in August 2017 and is our Centre Leader in Oxford. Lydia has a degree in History from the University of Bristol, with a Masters in International Relations from the University of Bath. Previously she worked in Widening Participation roles within the University of Bath. 

Polly George

Polly George joined us in August 2018. Polly has a degree in Language Studies from Leeds Beckett University where she was a student ambassador. She has previously worked as a Charity Fundraiser at Amnesty International. 

Kavita Desai

Kavita Desai joined us in August 2018. Kavita has a degree in French Studies with History from the University of London Institute in Paris and was an intern at our North Islington centre. She previously worked as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

David Ellis

David Ellis joined us in August 2019. David has a degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford and previously worked as a English language teaching assistant in France.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     
 


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3:30pm - 5:00pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  
 


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support

4:00pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
