IntoUniversity North Liverpool

IntoUniversity North Liverpool opened in October 2017 in Anfield. It is the charity's first centre in Liverpool and is run in partnership with the LFC Foundation and the University of Liverpool.

Kate McNally - Centre Leader

Kate McNally joined us in August 2017 and is our Centre Leader (maternity cover) in North Liverpool. Kate has a degree in French and Business Management from The University of Manchester. She also has a Primary PGCE with French and has previously worked as a teacher.

Alison Ball

Alison Ball is our Centre Leader at in North Liverpool and is currently on maternity leave. Alison has a degree in Journalism from The University of Central Lancashire. She also has a Primary PGCE and was previously working as a teacher in Liverpool before joining us in April 2017.

Liam Hayward

Liam Hayward joined us in August 2017. He has a degree in Education and Special Educational Needs from Liverpool Hope University. Liam previously worked in the University of Liverpool’s Widening Participation and Outreach department.

Niamh Meehan

Niamh Meehan joined us in August 2020. Niamh studied German and History at the University of Nottingham and has previously worked as a Bids and Grants Assistant at the National Youth Advocacy Service. She has also worked as a Foreign Language Assistant.

Shannon Atherton

Shannon Atherton joined us in August 2020. Shannon studied Drama at Liverpool John Moores University, where she also worked as a Student Performer, delivering assemblies to Key Stage Three Pupils, and as the Workshop Coordinator for the Drama Society.

Monday 

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5:30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.     


Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support  

3.30pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  


Thursday   

Secondary Academic Support  

4pm - 5:30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.
