Little Moments, Big Impact
Every day, across the IntoUniversity network, thousands of little moments occur. These little moments can make a world of difference to the young people we strive to support.
“IntoUniversity isn’t just about getting into University but about beating the odds and managing the unpredictable and often unequal circumstances so many of us find ourselves in. The centres exist for moments, when you find a spelling, equation or topic hard or when you’ve had a long day and the last thing you want to do is practise the thing you’re not so good at and the moments of accepting university offers or staying away from home for the first time.” (Harlem Nguyen, IntoUniversity Trustee Fellow & former Lambeth student)
Even just one little moment can set a young person on a path to success they never thought possible, and once accumulated together over the years we work with a student, these little moments can lead to some incredible outcomes!
Whether it’s a conversation with an Education Worker that helped change a young person’s perspective, an unexpected breakthrough with quadratic equations, a once shy student presenting in front of the whole class, or sitting together in-centre to open up exam results, each IntoUniversity journey is dotted with hundreds of these little moments.
And without them, none of the big impact we achieve would be possible. ‘Little Moments, Big Impact’ is a celebration of these little moments.
