Chloe joined IntoUniversity in 2023 and is now studying in Year 9. Through Academic Support, Mentoring and Primary FOCUS, she’s built confidence, found her voice and started to see a future she hadn’t imagined before.
From making new friends to speaking in front of others, Chloe’s journey shows how belief, encouragement and opportunity can change what a young person thinks is possible.
“The belief that the staff have shown me really helped me believe in myself. It’s made me think that I can do way more than I could before. They’ve helped me with friendships and they’ve helped me talk to more people. They’ve helped me want to push out my comfort zone and talk in front of people. Before I came here I didn’t know what university was about and I didn’t know if I wanted to go in the future. But now I’ve realised that there are so many opportunities with going to university and I really want to go.”
