When Cindy moved from Italy to Glasgow in 2021, she didn’t speak a word of English. Now, in 2025, Cindy is preparing to study Medicine at the University of Glasgow and credits her transformation to the support and advice she received at IntoUniversity’s Academic Support.

Leena first walked through the doors of IntoUniversity North Kensington at the age of eight. She was a quiet and shy child, unsure of what lay ahead. Today, at 16, she’s not only a confident student at the prestigious Canford School in Dorset, but also a recipient of the Rank Foundation School Leadership Award - a testament to her remarkable journey.
Levi began his journey with IntoUniversity Clacton-on-Sea during Secondary school through our FOCUS programme. Now 23, he reflects on how that early support has shaped his path from student to mentor.
Arabella, who is currently in Year 8, attended one of IntoUniversity Bridlington’s first ever workshops, ‘Being in an Independent Learner’ at her Secondary school. Shortly after, Arabella signed up to after-school Academic Support and now attends regularly.
Habib has been involved in a variety of programmes since S4 and IntoUniversity has guided Habib in considering and pursuing his aspirations.
