If you are a professional graduate from one of our corporate partners, this opportunity could be for you!
What does the role involve?
You will be paired with a young person in Year 13 (England) or S6 (Scotland).You will lead one-to-one sessions, supporting your mentee with their transition to university. This might involve supporting them with writing their personal statement, exploring different careers and developing their study skills.
How often will I volunteer?
Mentoring meetings are one hour and pairs meet once a month, over an 18 month period which includes the mentee’s first term at university.
The ambition and enthusiasm shown by my mentee, along with the incredible support of the IntoUniversity staff, made it a joy for me to give up my free time and help him with anything he needed.
