Dr Rachel Carr OBE

Dr Rachel Carr is the Chief Executive and co-founder of IntoUniversity. Previously, she was a university lecturer and Head of an English Department. She has over 20 years’ experience working with children and young people.

Dr Hugh Rayment-Pickard

Dr Hugh Rayment-Pickard is our Chief Strategy Officer. He has over 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector and is a co-founder of IntoUniversity.

Dan Century

Dan Century joined us as our Director of Finance in March 2014. Dan has a degree in Medieval and Modern History and has more than nine years’ experience working in the financial services sector.

Hannah Purkiss

Hannah Purkiss is the Director of Operations based at our Head Office and is currently on maternity leave. Hannah joined us as a graduate-trainee Education Worker in August 2010.

John Bleasdale

John Bleasdale is our Head of Development. John joined us in 2018 and has over 17 years of fundraising and grant making experience. He was previously Head of Trusts and Foundations at Teach First, and prior to that worked at the British Red Cross and the Big Lottery Fund.

Alex Quinn

Alex Quinn is our Head of Data and Impact. He has a degree in Natural Sciences and previously worked for the Zoological Society of London.

Enzo Petrasso

Enzo Petrasso is our I.T. and Facilities Manager. Enzo has over 15 years' experience within the IT industry, working across the public, private, legal and financial sectors. Enzo previously worked as a CTO for a Private Navy.

Lizzie Boyce

Lizzie Boyce is our Deputy Head of Fundraising. Lizzie has a degree in Biology and joined us as an Education Worker in August 2013. She previously interned at our Hammersmith centre, and has worked at Explore Learning and The Science Museum.

Hannah Thomas

Hannah Thomas is our Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and joined us in September 2015. Hannah has a degree in French with International Relations from the University of Exeter. 

Elly Rundle

Elly Rundle is our Operations Manager. She has a degree in Modern Languages: German and Italian from the University of Oxford and a Masters in German and Italian Literature. Elly was previously Team Leader at our Haringey centre. 

Anna James

Anna James is our HR Manager. Anna was part of the set-up team for our Haringey North centre, and was Centre Leader and FOCUS Manager, leading a team to design and pilot the Secondary FOCUS Programme. She re-joined the charity in April 2019 as HR Manager.

Tasha Etti

Tasha Etti joined us in January 2019 as our Finance Manager. Tasha studied Economics and Management Sciences at the University of Southampton. She is currently studying towards her CIMA qualification.

Olivia Jennings

Olivia Jennings joined us in January 2016 and is our Finance Assistant. She has a degree in Psychology from Oxford Brookes University and was previously Centre Leader in Walworth. Olivia previously worked as a Marketing Development Assistant at Save the Children.

Anna Milne

Anna Milne is our Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer and joined us in January 2018. Anna studied Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Cambridge and was previously Vice President for Student Minds Cambridge.

Jack Hampton

Jack​ ​Hampton​ is our Senior Set-Up and Strategy Co-ordinator. Jack has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. He previously worked as the President of the Oxford Students’ Union and volunteered at ReThink Mental Illness.

Vicky Beard

Vicky Beard joined us in 2018 and is our Senior Communications Officer. Vicky has a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Hull. She previously volunteered for a campaign group in Bedford.

Rebecca Marsh

Rebecca Marsh joined us in June 2018 and is our Senior Fundraising Officer. Rebecca studied History and Politics at the University of Leeds. She was previously a mentor at our Leeds South centre. 

Adam Drew

Adam Drew is our Senior Data and Impact Officer. Adam has a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s in Plastic Electronic Materials from Imperial College London. He previously worked as a Senior Education Worker at our Hammersmith centre.

Millie Pavitt

Millie Pavitt joined us in August 2019 and is our Philanthropy Officer. Millie has a degree in English Literature and Italian from the University of Exeter and has worked as an Travel Coordinator for Discovery Summer, a summer school for international students and as an English teacher in Vietnam.

Rosie Williams

Rosie Williams joined us in July 2019 as our Fundraising Officer. She has a degree in International Management and Modern Languages from the University of Bath and has previously volunteered supporting younger students as a peer mentor and at a local reading scheme.

Connor Allan

Connor Allan joined us in October 2019 and is our Fundraising Officer (Corporate Volunteering). Connor has a degree in English Literature and History from the University of Leeds and was previously a volunteer assistant fundraiser at Canvey Island Youth Project.

Beth Thomas

Beth Thomas joins us as our Executive Officer (Human Resources and Management Support). Beth has a Russian, East European Literature and Culture MA and a Literature and History degree from the University of East Anglia. Previously Beth was an administrator at Affinity Trade Union.

Ellie Haynes

Ellie Haynes joined us in September 2020 and is our Executive Officer - Governance, Events and Projects. Ellie studied Geography at the University of Sheffield and, previously, she worked at The King's Fund, a health and social care think tank, as Operations Coordinator.

Kelly Wainhouse is our Safeguarding Manager, based at our Islington centre.
