IntoUniversity Walworth

Our Walworth centre opened its doors in November 2013. It is our first centre in Southwark.

Patricia Mbangui - Centre Leader

Patricia Mbangui joined us in August 2021. Patricia has a degree in English Literature from the University of Warwick and completed the Teach First Programme as a Maths teacher in 2018. She previously worked as a Head of Region for CoachBright.

Stephen Sloan

Stephen Sloan joined us in August 2018. Stephen has a degree in Geography from the University of Southampton. He previously worked as a Sailing Instructor for young people at the Royal Dart Yacht Club. 

Katherine Hawkins

Katherine Hawkins joined us in January 2019. Katherine has a degree in History from the University of Birmingham. She has previously worked as a Tutor.

Tiah Stewart

Tiah Stewart has an undergraduate degree in Education and Psychology from the University of Southampton and an MSc in the Psychology of Education from UCL. Previously, Tiah worked for Explore Learning as a tutor in Maths and English.

Eunice Adeoyo

Eunice Adeoyo joined us in August 2021. Eunice has an English degree from the University of Cambridge. Before joining IntoUniversity, she was a mentor a the Project Access and a Big Sib Volunteer at the Cambridge Student Community Action (SCA)

What's on at the centre?


Secondary Academic Support 

4pm - 5.30pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and exam revision.  

Tuesday and Wednesday 

Primary Academic Support 

3.45pm - 5pm 

Support from graduate staff and university-educated volunteers on schoolwork and a target approach to improving literacy and numeracy.  


Secondary Academic Support 

4pm - 5.30pm 

UCAS Drop In (Years 11-13) 

4pm - 5.30pm 

Advice on UCAS applications, interview techniques, and gap year choices.
