Oliver Haarmann announced as Chair of Trustees
We are delighted to announce that Oliver Haarmann has been appointed as Chair of Trustees of education charity IntoUniversity.
After initially joining the charity’s Advisory Panel in 2011, Oliver has been a Trustee of IntoUniversity since 2013. Oliver has enjoyed a successful career in the investment industry as a Founding Partner of Searchlight Capital and, previously, as a Partner of KKR, the global investment firm.
Oliver comments: “I look forward to collaborating even more closely with the Senior Management Team and everyone involved with IntoUniversity at such an important time in the evolution of the charity. I hope that in the coming years IntoUniversity continues to attract fantastic educators – staff, mentors, volunteers and school partners – who are passionate about working with students whose curiosity and efforts lead them to discover more about the world and their own capabilities to make a positive impact on it.”
Dr Rachel Carr, CEO and Co-Founder of IntoUniversity, said, “I am delighted to share the news of this appointment with our supporters. Oliver has been a valued member of the Board of Trustees over the last six years and we look forward to him now leading the charity as we go forward to support even more young people in the future.
