Our people

Taylor Ferguson joined us in June 2023 and is our Fundraising Officer. Taylor has a degree in Criminology from the University of Exeter and previously completed international volunteering placements in Fiji and Nepal.

Tegwen Rattray joined us in July 2023. Tegwen studied Philosophy and Theology at the University of Oxford and previously worked as a tutor.

Teyah Michalis joined us in August 2021. Teyah has a Education, Culture and Society degree from Goldsmith University. Previously Teyah was a SEN Learning Support Assistant and Early Years Assistant

Tom Denham joined us in June 2022. Tom has an undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Birmingham and a Masters in Modern Literature and Culture from King's College London. Previously, he has worked as a Student Ambassador and tutor.

Tom Williams joined us in March 2023. Tom has a degree in Politics from UWE, an MSc in Political Communication from the University of Glasgow and a PGCE in Primary Education from Bath Spa University. Previously, he worked as a Primary school teacher.

Veronica Cueva-Peralta joined us in July 2022. Veronica has a degree in Classics from the University of Oxford and a MA in Globalisation and Development Studies from Maastricht University. Previously, she worked as a Language Tutor and an English Teacher in Germany, Ecuador and the UK.

Vicky Beard joined us in 2018 and is our Communications Manager. Vicky has a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Hull. She previously volunteered for a campaign group in Bedford.

Victoria Pownall joined us in August 2022. Victoria has a degree in English and French from the University of Exeter and a PGCE from the University of Brighton.

Viknesh Jeevachandran joined us in January 2020. Viknesh has a Psychology degree from the University of Bath. Previously, he was a group leader for The Social Mobility Foundation and an Outreach Ambassador for Bath’s Widening Participation Officer.

Zachary Gladish joined us in August 2022. Zachary has a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Exeter, where he was also a Student Ambassador. Previously, he worked in a full-time community outreach role at the University of Exeter.

Zia Duncan joined us in July 2022. Zia has a degree in Law from the University of Leeds and has previously worked as a Student Ambassador.

Zoë Abernethy joined us in March 2023. Zoë has a degree in Sociology and is currently studying a Masters degree in Gender Studies. She has over 15 years experience of working with young people in the charity sector and in local secondary schools in the North West.
