Rosie Dunford Wood
Education Worker
Rosie Dunford Wood joined us in March 2023. Rosie studied History of Art at the University of Edinburgh and previously worked as a Nanny and Tutor.
Rosy Smith
Head of Programme Delivery and Operations
Rosy Smith is our Head of Programme Delivery and Operations (South of England and the West Midlands). Rosy joined us in August 2012 and was previously our Centre Leader at East Ham, our BlackRock Partnership Manager and our East London and Clacton Cluster Manager.
Sam Johnson
Centre Leader
Sam Johnson joined us in October 2023. Sam has a degree in Maths from the University of Exeter. Previously, he worked at The Access Project as a University Access Officer and in their events team, as an English language assistant in Germany, and supported student societies at Exeter and UWE students' unions.
Sarah Bennett
Lead Senior Education Worker
Sarah Bennett joined us in August 2021. Sarah has a degree in Psychology with Criminology from the University of Sussex. Previously Sarah was a Nursery Bank Staff Member at Oxford Brookes Nursery and Widening Participations Ambassador at the University of Sussex.
Sarah Havens
Trustee
Sarah Havens works directly with the students in our Academic Support programme and is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion and the Development Committees of the Board. She is active with other charities, serving as Treasurer of the family foundation Lef-Pillon Trust and as a member of the Friends Committee of the international conservation organisation Whitley Fund for Nature.
Sarah Jackman
Education Worker
Sarah Jackman joined us in July 2023. Sarah has a degree in Art History from the Courtauld Institute and completed a Masters in History and Visual Cultures at the University of Oxford. Sarah has previous experience as a sports coach and supporting artists with additional needs.
Sathya Premachandra
Education Worker
Sathya Premachandra joined us in March 2023. Sathya studied Economics and Sociology at the University of Manchester. She previously worked as a freelance Graphic Designer and volunteered as a Teaching Assistant.
Seleena Mir
Centre Leader (Sabbatical Cover)
Seleena Mir joined us in March 2022. She has a degree in Sociology from the University of Manchester and a Masters in Global Citizenship, Identities and Human Rights from the University of Nottingham. Previously, she volunteered as a Citizen Researcher at a MH:2K, a mental health and emotional well-being organisation.
Sevgi Firat
Student Opportunities Manager
Sevgi Firat joined us in August 2022. Sevgi is our Student Opportunities Manager (Partnerships and Khadija Saye Arts) and has a degree in Philosophy from the University of York. Previously, she worked as a teacher at English in Action, an ESL provider in Europe.
Shanice Blair
Education Worker
Shanice Blair joined us in July 2023. Shanice studied French and German at the University of Leeds and completed a Masters in Intercultural Communication at the University of Manchester. She previously worked as an English Language Assistant and tutor.
Shannon Moloney
Lead Senior Education Worker
Shannon Moloney joined us in January 2021. Shannon has a degree in Illustration from the Norwich University of the Arts and has previously worked as a Graduate Boarding Assistant at Wymondham College.
Shaquille Ogunyinka
Senior Education Worker
Shaquille Ogunyinka joined us in July 2022. Shaquille has a degree in Psychology from the University of Essex. Previously, he has worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a Secondary school and as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary school.
