Our people
Maya Doolan
Senior Education Worker
Maya Doolan joined us in January 2024. Maya has a degree in International Development from the University of East Anglia. Previously they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Nanny.
Megan Anderson
Education Worker
Megan Anderson joined us in August 2025. She studied Psychology at the University of Liverpool. She has previously worked as a Disability Coach, supporting university students with disability-related queries. She also worked as a Liverpool Advocate, taking part in workshops for young people (similar to ours!) and supporting IntoUniversity staff with set-up and campus tours. In addition, she volunteered with IntoUniversity Kirkby for over a year.
Megan Bellamy
Senior Education Worker
Megan Bellamy joined us in July 2023. Megan has a degree in History and completed a Masters in Early Modern History at the University of Sheffield. Megan previously worked as a Learning Support Assistant.
Megan Clarke
Lead Senior Education Worker
Megan Clarke joined us in January 2024. Megan has a degree in Sociology from the University of East Anglia. They have previous experience as a Scout Leader and previously worked in the service and retail industries.
Megan Haley
Senior Education Worker
Megan Haley joined us in March 2023. Megan has a degree in English Literature and History from Newcastle University and previously, volunteered as a tutor.
Megan Hodgkinson
Lead Senior Student Opportunities Officer
Megan Hodgkinson joined us in July 2022. Megan studied Philosophy, Ethics and Religion at the University of Leeds. Previously, she worked as an Education Executive Officer at Leeds University Union and has volunteered as a Primary school Teaching Assistant.
Megan Ison
Senior Education Worker
Megan Ison joins us in January 2025 as an Education Worker in Gateshead/Newcastle. Megan has an undergraduate degree from Newcastle University in Geography. She has worked as a gymnastics coach as well as in the retail and hospitality sectors.
Meg Dunstan
Senior Education Worker
Meg Dunstan joined us in July 2023. Meg studied Geography at St Andrew's University and completed a Masters in Education, Public Policy, and Equity at the University of Glasgow. She previously worked as a Deputy Camp Manager.
Meg Twist
Senior Education Worker
Meg Twist joined us in December 2024. Meg has a Film and Television degree from the University of Nottingham. Previously, she worked at holiday camps and performing arts schools, as well as working as a Nanny, and did a placement at a local primary school during university.
Mia Hollis
Senior Education Worker
Mia Hollis joins us in January 2025 as an Education Worker in Brighton. Mia has an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Leeds. She has previously worked as a playworker at Elm Grove Primary School.
Michael Spierin
Head of Operations (Impact and Strategy)
Michael Spierin joined us in August 2019 and is our Head of Operations (Impact and Strategy, Maternity Cover). He has a degree in Sports Education and Psychology from Nottingham Trent University and has previously worked as an IntoUniversity Centre Leader in Nottingham and Newcastle as well as a Fundraiser for the Canal and River Trust.
Miguel Ramos Fuentenebro
Trustee
Miguel is the co-founder of Fair Oaks Capital, a London-based asset management firm specialising in credit investments. He previously held senior roles at GSO Capital Partners (part of the Blackstone Group) and Morgan Stanley in London. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. Miguel grew up in a small city in Spain and has a strong personal belief in the importance of education as a driver of opportunity and social mobility. He has supported scholarship programmes both at the London School of Economics and at his university in Madrid.
