Our people

Sharif is our Senior Corporate Partnerships officer and joined us in January 2022. He has over 8 years’ experience working in charities for children & young people having worked at ELHAP, an adventure playground for children & young people with disabilities, and The Kids Network, a mentoring charity for primary school aged children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Sharif has a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Birmingham.

Shehnaz Chowdhury joined us in February 2024. Shehnaz has a degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester. Previously she worked as a Tutor and in the Retail sector.

Sonal Mistry joined us in June 2023. Sonal has a degree in English from the University of Bristol and previously worked as a Learning Support Assistant and as a Language Assistant in Germany.

Sophie Foster joined us in August 2021. Sophie has a History degree from the University of Nottingham. Previously Sophie was a Senior Student Ambassador at the University of Nottingham

Sophie Houghton is our Interim Assistant Director of Programmes. Sophie has a degree in European Social and Political Studies with French from UCL and a PGCE from Sheffield Hallam. She also has a Masters of Education from the University of Manchester.

Sophie Jackson joined us in November 2022. Sophie has a degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool and previously volunteered at the North Liverpool centre.

Sophie Williams joined us in January 2025 as an Education Worker in Leicester. Sophie has an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Loughborough University. Previously, Sophie worked as a Nursery Practitioner and a Learning Support Assistant. Sophie also worked as a student ambassador at Loughborough University.

Stephanie Hodson joined us in October 2024. Stephanie has a degree in Film, Television and Radio Studies from Staffordshire University, and qualified as a Teacher in 2012 after completing a PGCE from the University of Derby. She has over 10 years experience as a Primary School Teacher within Nottinghamshire schools.

Steve Windsor is our Treasurer. Steve first became involved with IntoUniversity through his work on the Goldman Charitable Giving Committee in 2010 and has been a dedicated supporter of the charity ever since.

Tara Hodges joined us in July 2024. Tara has a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Developmental Disorders, both from the University of Nottingham. Previously, Tara has worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant and Student Support Worker.

Tash Histed joined us in August 2022. Tash studied History at the University of Bristol. Previously, she was a mentor at our Bristol East centre and a volunteer Teaching Assistant at a local Primary school.

Tasleem Patel joined us in August 2019. She has a degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester and previously worked as a Pathways Mentor for the University of Leicester Student Recruitment Office.
