Emma Harrison
Senior Education Worker
Emma Harrison joined us in July 2023. Emma studied Sociology at the University of Manchester and previously volunteered at IntoUniversity Leeds South and completed a year at CityYear.
Emma Norbury
Centre Leader
Emma Norbury joined us in March 2024. Emma has a degree in English, an MA in Contemporary Literature and a PGCE Secondary English from the University of Hull. She worked as a Secondary and sixth form teacher for 16 years, teaching A Level English Language, English Language & Literature, English Literature, Media Studies and Film Studies. Emma also worked as an Outreach Officer for The University of Hull.
Eve Burniston
Education Worker
Eve Burniston joined us in September 2023. Eve has a degree in Childhood and Youth: Theory and Practice from the University of Sussex. Previously, she worked as a University of Sussex Widening Participation Peer Mentor, WeSpeak Lead Facilitator and Explore Learning Tutor. Eve also volunteered as a University Student Mentor at our Brighton centre.
Eve Hemsley
Senior Education Worker
Eve Hemsley joined us in March 2023. Eve has a degree in Sociology from Newcastle University. Previously, they worked in Recruitment at Greggs Head Office and as a volunteer Role Model with Diversity Role Models.
Farrell Monk
Financial Controller
Farrell Monk joined us in March 2021 as our Financial Controller. Farrell has spent the best part of the decade working in finance for various charities, most recently at Causeway Education and The Royal Society.
Fatima Sharif
Centre Leader
Fatima Sharif joined us in July 2022. Fatima has a degree in International Politics from City, University of London. Whilst studying, she tutored students in English and Maths at a local tuition centre.
Fatma Sufi
Education Worker
Fatma Sufi joined us in August 2022. Fatma studied Education at Brunel University London and previously did work experience at a Primary school.
Faye Howard
Interim Regional Operations Manager (North West England)
Faye Howard joined us in August 2021. Faye has a English and French degree from the University of Liverpool and an MA in Gender and Women's Studies and English Literature from Lancaster University. Previously Faye was a Private Tutor at Faye à la maison and an English Teacher at Université de Lorraine.
Faye Williamson
Interim Communications Officer
Faye Williamson joined us in September 2024 and is our Interim Communications Officer. Faye has a degree in Film and English from the University of Southampton. Previously, Faye worked in public sector tech PR as a Senior Account Executive for communications agency Ruder Finn.
Floss Wilkinson
Education Worker
Floss Wilkinson joined us in July 2024. Floss has a degree in International Relations and Italian from the University of Exeter, and has volunteered as a kids’ church leader as well as an assistant ESOL teacher.
Francesca High
Senior Education Worker
Francesca High joined us in June 2023. Francesca has a degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Hull and a Research Master's from Hull York Medical School. Previously, she worked as an invigilator/reader at University of Hull for students with reasonable adjustments and in the laboratory at Hull & East Riding Fertility.
Freya Stuart-Hopkins

Freya Stuart-Hopkins joined us in January 2024. Freya has a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Birmingham. They previously worked as a Student Outreach Progression Mentor, a Community Stories Intern, and a Partnership and Engagements Ambassador for GINA.
