IntoUniversity holds inaugural Partnership Awards

As a charity IntoUniversity works with many individuals and partner organisations who support our work and make it possible. This year we decided to recognise the contribution made by our partners across the country with the inaugural IntoUniversity Partnership Awards.

We received nominations for a broad range of organisations and individuals from across our network of centres - many congratulations to everyone who made it onto the shortlist.

IntoUniversity opens new centres in Clacton-on-Sea and Anfield 

We are pleased to announce that our new learning centres in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex and Anfield, Liverpool will open this autumn.

Both will begin working with local young people in October, bringing the total number of IntoUniversity centres to 24.

Once established each new centre will work with 900 students every year.

New Impact Report published 

We are delighted to release our 2017 Impact Report, demonstrating the work being done in IntoUniversity learning centres across the country.

Highlights from the report include our latest higher education progression figure: 75% of IntoUniversity school leavers achieved a university place in 2016, compared with the national average for pupils on Free School Meals (22% in 2014).

We're also pleased to share positive feedback from students, teachers and parents. After attending IntoUniversity programmes:

- 75% of our Academic Support students report improved grades
- 95% of teachers report that their students know more about university
- 90% of parents report that their child is more confident

IntoUniversity selected for BBC Lifeline Appeal

We were delighted to be selected for a BBC Lifeline Appeal for June 2017. Our Lifeline Appeal is presented by Tom Hollander and features interviews with young people and families who have benefitted from the IntoUniversity programme in London and Brighton.

Our Appeal first aired on on BBC One on Sunday 18th June 2017 at 4.30pm and is still available to watch online.

IntoUniversity gold charity partner for Deloitte Ride Across Britain 2017

IntoUniversity is a gold charity partner for this year's Deloitte Ride Across Britain, an iconic bike ride from Cornwall to Scotland taking in 969 miles of stunning countryside. 

We have a limited number of charity places available for riders who would like to fundraise for IntoUniversity. These places are available at a reduced rate of £499 each.
