Meet the people who make IntoUniversity a success.
Lauren Angus joined us in January 2022. Lauren studied Social Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University. Lauren previously volunteered through Project Trust as a Community Liaison Officer at Manzini Youth Care in Swaziland, Southern Africa as well as working as a private Nanny.
Lauren Paddison joined us in April 2022. Lauren studied Music at the University of Bristol and has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant in both Primary and Secondary schools. Previously, she volunteered as a Mentor at our Bristol South centre.
Lauren Pope joined us in September 2022. Lauren has a degree in French with Spanish from the University of Warwick. Previously, she worked as an English Language Assistant at a Primary and Secondary school in France. Whilst at university, she also volunteered for the Right to Read Project in a Primary school.
Talent and Learning Manager
Leah Boyne joined us in January 2018. Leah has a degree in Politics from the University of Sheffield. She previously worked as an English Language Teacher in China, and was our Centre Leader at IntoUniversity Hammersmith.
Leah Patel joined us in March 2020. Leah has a degree and masters in Philosophy from the University of Sheffield. During her MA, she also took up a research post and created a third year module on Gender, Sexuality and Religion in non-western cultural contexts which is currently being taught.
Lewis Clark joined us in January 2023. Lewis has a degree in Sports Studies from Leeds Beckett University. Previously, he worked as a temporary Education Worker at IntoUniversity in Leeds.
Liam Raine joined us in August 2021. Liam has a English Literature degree from Sheffield Hallam University. Previously Liam was an English for Academic Purposes Tutor at INTO Newcastle University and before this he was an English Teacher at Sheffield Language Centre.
Lily Dwyer joined us in August 2022. Lily has a degree in French and History from the University of Leeds and previously worked as an English Language Assistant.
Livvy Hewins joined us in August 2020. Livvy studied Geography with Psychology at the University of Chester. She previously worked as a Camp Counsellor with Camp America, leading activities for children as well as providing pastoral care.
Assistant Director of Development
Lizzie Boyce is our Assistant Director of Development. Lizzie has a degree in Biology and joined us as an Education Worker in August 2013. She previously interned at our Hammersmith centre, and has worked at Explore Learning and The Science Museum.
Lead Senior Education Worker
Lois Plummer joined us in January 2021. Lois has a degree in Sociology from the University of Nottingham and a MSc in Ethnicity and Multiculturalism from the University of Bristol. Previously, she interned in the Widening Participation team at the University of Bristol.
Senior Education Worker
Lorna Hastings joined us in August 2021. Lorna has a Philosophy and Theology degree from The University of Edinburgh. Previously she was a Student Mentor at Zero Gravity and a Program Expert at Camp Monty.
