Jade Hinchliffe
Centre Leader
Jade Hinchliffe joined us in August 2022. Jade has a degree and masters in English Literature from the University of Huddersfield and has submitted her thesis for her PhD in Sociology at the University of Hull. Jade has previously worked as a tutor and lecturer.

Jake Howarth
Education Worker
Jake Howarth joined us in July 2024. Jake has a degree in French and History from the University of Birmingham. He has a TEFL qualification and has worked as an English teacher in Thailand and France. Jake has also worked as a SEN teaching assistant and a football coach.

Jamie Dolling
Programme Support Tutor
Jamie Dolling joined us in October 2024. Jamie has a BSc (Hons) SW Zoo Biology at Nottingham Trent University, and an MSc Global Wildlife Health and Conservation at University of Bristol. Previously, Jamie was a lecturer and demonstrator in Higher Education Schools, a cycling officer for a sustainable travel charity, an education officer at a zoo, and a science academic mentor at a secondary school.

Jamie Lee Courtney
Adult and Family Learning Project Worker
Jamie Lee Courtney joined us in September 2024. Jamie Lee has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Stirling, and a CELTA qualification from International House London. Previously, she worked as a Learning Communities Coordinator at education charity Volunteer Tutors Organisation.

Jane Clarke
Lead Senior Education Worker
Jane Clarke joined us in March 2023. Jane has a degree in History and an MPhil in Modern British History from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in History from the University of Manchester. Previously, she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester teaching History. She has also worked as a private tutor teaching English and History for GCSE and A Level.

Jasmine Raine
Senior Education Worker
Jasmine Raine joined us in January 2023. Jasmine studied for her joint honours undergraduate degree in Geography and Sociology at the University of of Newcastle. Previously, she worked as a Classroom Assistant and English teacher.

Jazmin Reigan
Centre Leader
Jazmin Reigan joined us in August 2021. Jazmin has a degree in Media Practice and a Masters in Media Practice for Development and Social Change from the University of Sussex. Previously, she was a mentor at IntoUniversity Brighton.

Jenneh Edem-Hotah
Assistant Head of Programme Delivery and Operations
Jenneh Edem-Hotah joined us in January 2017. Jenneh is our Regional Operations Manager (North and West London) and our Head of Diversity and Inclusion. She has a degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Manchester. Previously, she was our Centre Leader in Haringey North and also volunteered with International Citizen Service.

Jenny Brown
Trustee
Jenny Brown was educated at North London Collegiate School and Oxford University, where she read English. She started her career publishing for Robert Maxwell at Pergamon Press, but the move into English teaching at Cranleigh School ‘felt like coming home’. She taught at Highgate School in 1995 and then South Hampstead High School in 2000 and became Head of English at Channing School and then Director of Senior School at St Paul’s Girls’ School, until taking up her first Headship at St Alban’s High School for Girls. Since September 2019, she has been the Headmistress of the City of London School for Girls.

Jenny Katte
Lead Senior Education Worker
Jenny Katte joined us in August 2021 and is currently on sabbatical. Jenny has a joint honours in American Studies and English. Previously, she was a UniConnect Programme Outreach Officer at Next Steps South West and before this was a Writing Feedback Specialist at Studiosity.

Jessica Smith
Centre Leader
Jessica Smith joined us in January 2020. Jessica has a degree in English and Biblical Literature from The University of Sheffield. She previously worked as a Community Logistics Manager for The Challenge.

Jess Jones
Education Worker
Jess Jones joined us in February 2025. Jess did primary Education and Teaching Studies at CU Scarborough and completed various primary school placement as well as spent the summer volunteering in Washington DC as a Smithsonian Camp Instructor. More recently, she worked in a residential and dementia care home where she was supporting the residents with their daily wants and needs whilst promoting independence, safety and their best interests.
