Our people
Lenny O'Sullivan
Education Worker
Lenny O'Sullivan joined us in July 2025. Lenny has an undergraduate degree in Drama and English Literature, and a master's degree in Screenwriting from the University of Manchester. He has previously worked as a tutor with Mannings, and volunteered at charities like TiPP and Odd Arts.
Lesley Acton
Regional Operations Manager (East Yorkshire and the Humber)
Lesley Acton joined us in April 2024. Lesley has a degree in English from the University of Hull. Previously, she was Head of Fair Access at the University of Hull and worked as a Teacher in a sixth form college.
Lewis Clark
Education Worker
Lewis Clark joined us in January 2023. Lewis has a degree in Sports Studies from Leeds Beckett University. Previously, he worked as a temporary Education Worker at IntoUniversity in Leeds.
Liam Casey
Lead Senior Student Opportunities Officer
Liam Casey joined us in March 2024. Liam has a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland and an MSc in International Relations of the Americas from University College London. Previously, he has worked at ImaGen as an Academic Advisor, at Shorelight Education as an Admissions Specialist and taught English in Vietnam through the British Council.
Lily Dwyer
Centre Leader (Designated Safeguarding Officer)
Lily Dwyer joined us in August 2022. Lily has a degree in French and History from the University of Leeds and previously worked as an English Language Assistant.
Lily Lloyd Smith
Senior Education Worker
Lily Lloyd Smith joined us in January 2024. Lily has a degree in Film Studies from Kings College London. Previously, they worked as a nursery teacher and Education Advisor.
Lily Walsh
Senior Education Worker
Lily Walsh joined us in July 2024. Lily has a degree in Psychology from the University of Hull. Previously, Lily worked as a Personal Assistant for a young person with additional needs.
Lindsay Bolton
Safeguarding Manager (Designated Safeguarding Lead)
Lindsay Bolton joined us in September 2025. She studied Psychology at the University of York. She has previously worked as a National Youth Helpline Shift Leader and Safeguarding Team Member at The Mix, as a Frontline Independent Domestic Abuse Advocate and Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (IDVA/ISVA), and as a MARAC Coordinator for Hammersmith and Fulham, leading multiagency meetings to create borough-wide safety and action plans for victim-survivors of domestic abuse at high risk of harm or homicide.
Lindsay Manion
Centre Leader (Designated Safeguarding Officer)
Lindsay Manion joined us in February 2024. Lindsay has a degree in English Literature from the University of Sheffield. Previously, she worked as a Teaching Assistant with Academics Ltd and as a Playscheme worker at KIDS.
Lindsey Wood
(On Sabbatical) Senior Education Worker
Lindsey Wood joined us in July 2023. Lindsey studied Geography at the University of Leeds and previously worked as a Secondary school teacher in Budapest.
Livvy Donaldson
Centre Leader (Designated Safeguarding Officer)
Livvy Donaldson joined us in August 2020. Livvy studied Geography with Psychology at the University of Chester. She previously worked as a Camp Counsellor with Camp America, leading activities for children as well as providing pastoral care.
Lizzie Boyce
Director of Development
Lizzie Boyce is our Director of Development. Lizzie has a degree in Biology and joined us as an Education Worker in August 2013 before joining our fundraising team in 2015. She previously interned at our Hammersmith centre, and has worked at Explore Learning and The Science Museum.
