Our people

Lavanya Manobharath joined us in September 2023. Lavanya studied Philosophy and Theology at the University of Bristol. Previously, she was a Mentor at Debate Mate and Zero Gravity and a Widening Participation Ambassador at the University of Bristol.

Leah​ ​Boyne​ ​joined us in January 2018. Leah has a degree in Politics from the University of Sheffield. She previously worked as an English Language Teacher in China, and was our Centre Leader at IntoUniversity Hammersmith.

Lesley Acton joined us in April 2024. Lesley has a degree in English from the University of Hull. Previously, she was Head of Fair Access at the University of Hull and worked as a Teacher in a sixth form college.

Lewis Clark joined us in January 2023. Lewis has a degree in Sports Studies from Leeds Beckett University. Previously, he worked as a temporary Education Worker at IntoUniversity in Leeds.

Lia Gass joined us in July 2023. Lia studied Social Science at the University of Glasgow. She previously worked delivering creative workshops to children and supporting young people during prison visits.

Liam Casey joined us in March 2024. Liam has a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland and an MSc in International Relations of the Americas from University College London. Previously, he has worked at ImaGen as an Academic Advisor, at Shorelight Education as an Admissions Specialist and taught English in Vietnam through the British Council.

Libby Bryant joined us in November 2024. Libby has an English degree from the University of Nottingham. She was previously a secondary school teacher.

Lilli Hagerupsen joined in January 2024. They hold a degree in Applied Social Sciences (Anthropology) from the University of Southampton, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Falmouth University, and a Trinity Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Lilli has taught English and coordinated social programmes at language schools in Southampton and Chiang Mai. She later joined the University of Southampton Widening Participation team, managing student academic skills enquiries, before teaching English and Academic Skills to foundation students on pathway programmes at ONCAMPUS Southampton.

Lily Dwyer joined us in August 2022. Lily has a degree in French and History from the University of Leeds and previously worked as an English Language Assistant.

Lily Lloyd Smith joined us in January 2024. Lily has a degree in Film Studies from Kings College London. Previously, they worked as a nursery teacher and Education Advisor.

Lily Walsh joined us in July 2024. Lily has a degree in Psychology from the University of Hull. Previously, Lily worked as a Personal Assistant for a young person with additional needs.

Lindsay Manion joined us in February 2024. Lindsay has a degree in English Literature from the University of Sheffield. Previously, she worked as a Teaching Assistant with Academics Ltd and as a Playscheme worker at KIDS.
