Our people

Anwar Malik joined us in July 2021. She has a degree in English Literature from King’s College London and a Master’s in Postcolonial Literature from the University of Oxford. Previously, she has volunteered for various education charities and worked as an English Language Assistant in Spain.

Anya Nevett joined us in October 2025. She graduated from Keble College, University of Oxford with a BA in History, and later completed an MSc in Human Rights at the London School of Economics. She has previously worked as a Fundraising Associate for Compton Fundraising Consultants, as a Freelance Researcher for a Manchester-based law firm, and as a summer school mentor. She has also volunteered for human rights charities such as SolidariTee and Freedom from Torture, alongside supporting higher education access initiatives at university.

Arani Nirmalaraj joined us in June 2023. Arani has a degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester. Previously, she worked as a Teaching Assistant in both mainstream and SEND schools.

Arienne Panayi joined us in January 2022. She has a degree in English Literature from Leeds Beckett University. Previously, Arienne was an Account Executive at Prohibition PR and a Media Relations, Influencer Executive at Democracy PR and a Teaching Assistant.

Arqam Suleman joined us in April 2026. Arqam studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Royal Holloway, University of London. He previously worked as a Team Leader at NCS (National Citizen Service) and has also volunteered with IntoUniversity.

Asher Joyce joined us in November 2024. Asher is currently in their third year at the Royal College of Music, studying composition. They have previously worked for Elevate Education in the UK and Australia, and is a singing teacher for the Tri-Borough Music Hub.

Asmaa Bashir joined us in August 2025. Asmaa has a degree in Neuroscience from King's College London. Previously, she was working as a SEN Teaching Assistant at a secondary school.

Batshala Rijal joined us in November 2024. Batshala has a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Psychology from Hollins University, Virginia, and a Master's degree in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies at the London School of Economics. She has previously completed internships in the NGO/INGO space in the US and Nepal.

Beccy Davies joined us in January 2023. Beccy has a degree in History and Politics from Queen Mary University. Before joining IntoUniversity, she worked in retail and as a carer.

Becky Kendall joined us as an Education Worker in January 2014 and was previously a Centre Leader at IntoUniversity Hackney South.

Ben Ashton joined us in February 2023. Ben studied Italian and Polish at the University of Oxford. Previously he taught Drama and English to children both in the UK and in Italy.

Ben Frankland joined us in September 2025. He has a BSc in Economics and Spanish from the University of Exeter. He has previously worked for Exeter City Community Trust as a Charity Development Assistant, the National Youth Agency as a Youth Consultant, and the University of Exeter Language Centre as a Resource Assistant.
