Our people

Amy Erentz joined us in August 2019. She has a degree in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham. Amy previously worked as an intern at our Nottingham East centre and as a Nursery Support Assistant.

Amy Rust joined us in July 2022. Amy studied Media with Politics at the University of East Anglia and has previously worked as a Student Opportunities Project Coordinator at UEA and as a Students' Union Administrator at Norwich University of the Arts.

Amy Travers joins us in August 2025. Amy has a degree in Geography from the University of Birmingham. Prior to joining IntoUniversity, Amy worked as a Childcare Assistant at a Day Nursery and as a Student Ambassador.

Andrew McWhirter joined us in August 2024. Andrew has a degree in English Literature from The University of Leeds. Most recently, he worked at The Literacy Pirates, a charity supporting literacy confidence in primary and secondary students. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Primary School Teacher.

Andy Harney joined us in July 2022. Andy studied Law with Politics at The Queen's University of Belfast and has previously worked as an English language assistant in Spain. He also has numerous teaching and volunteering experiences across Central and Eastern Europe.

Annabell Dalton joined us in June 2022. Annabell studied Fashion Promotion at the University for the Creative Arts and has previously worked as a Transition Support Officer and a Pastoral and Behaviour Officer. Annabell was also an intern at IntoUniversity Leeds South.

Anna Bevington joined us in January 2022. Anna studied Geography at the University of Exeter. Anna has previously worked as a Ministry Assistant, working with both Primary and Secondary aged students, and as a Leader at summer holiday camps for children.

Anna James is our Policy and Inclusion Manager and is currently on maternity leave. Anna was part of the set-up team for our Haringey North centre, and was Centre Leader and FOCUS Manager, leading a team to design and pilot the Secondary FOCUS Programme. She re-joined the charity in April 2019 and now works on policy and research projects for our HR Team.

Anwar Malik joined us in July 2021. She has a degree in English Literature from King’s College London and a Master’s in Postcolonial Literature from the University of Oxford. Previously, she has volunteered for various education charities and worked as an English Language Assistant in Spain.

Arani Nirmalaraj joined us in June 2023. Arani has a degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester. Previously, she worked as a Teaching Assistant in both mainstream and SEND schools.

Arienne Panayi joined us in January 2022. She has a degree in English Literature from Leeds Beckett University. Previously, Arienne was an Account Executive at Prohibition PR and a Media Relations, Influencer Executive at Democracy PR and a Teaching Assistant.

Asher Joyce joined us in November 2024. Asher is currently in their third year at the Royal College of Music, studying composition. They have previously worked for Elevate Education in the UK and Australia, and is a singing teacher for the Tri-Borough Music Hub.
